It was indeed a memorable event for ALAM Toastmasters Club, when the CEO of ALAM, Mr. M. Adthisaya Ganesan was presented the Charter Certificate by District 51 Governor, Joseph Gomez, DTM. Those present on 22 October 2008, included staff of ALAM, TLI Chairman, Dominic Joseph, DTM as well as members of the sponsor clubs, Malacca Toastmasters Club & Port Dickson Toastmasters Club.
Capt. Khalid J. Hashmi, ACS, a dual member of the sponsor clubs, was instrumental in the setting up of the In-House Toastmasters Club. For his efforts, Capt Khalid, ACS, was awarded the Outstanding Toastmaster Pin.
A demonstration meeting was held immediately after the Charter Presentation Ceremony.
